The children have been studying Europe as their topic for this term. They have been looking at a number of countries in Europe and studying their geography, climate, landmarks, famous people, language and national costume. They have also learned the flags of each of the countries and their capital cities. They set up a travel agents in the corner of the class room where they carried out role play. They were lucky enough to have two travel agents from Thomas Cook to tell them about how a travel agents works and supply them with a number of brochures for their shop. Here you can see the class wall displays on the topic.

French breakfast
The P5/6/7 class held a French Breakfast for the whole class on Wednesday 24th September. The children dressed up as French waitresses and waiter and served the rest of the children in the school with fruit juice or hot chocolate, brioche, crossaints, french bread and rolls, grapes and cheese. They then entertained their guests with the Can Can and the French Hockey Cockey.
